Averbukh will begin staging programs for skater Medvedeva for the Olympic season in May

Choreographer Ilya Averbukh told the R-Sport agency that in May he will start working with the two-time world figure skating champion Evgenia Medvedeva on staging short and free programs for the Olympic season.
Averbukh is the director of both Medvedeva's programs in the season-2016/17, as well as an arbitrary program in the season-2015/16, with which the figure skater for the first time became the world champion.
"So far we have not started working on programs with Zhenya, but there is a basic agreement, this concerns both a short program and an arbitrary one, we'll start work in May," Averbukh said by telephone.
